Buffalo Girls Basketball

Summer Challenge:    MAKE 1,000 shots per month = 3,000 shots this summer

Challenge Timeframe:  Begins June 1, 2024 and concludes on August 31, 2024

Award:

• A What's the Scoop gift card will be awarded each month to anyone who has 1,000 MAKES.
• A Bison sweatshirt will be awarded to anyone that MAKES 1,000 shots all three months: June, July, and August.

 Instructions:

• Write your number of made shots each day on the Bison Buckets calendar.
• At the end of the month, total your made shots.
• Ask your parents to sign the calendar.  
• Email the calendar to buffalogirlshoops@gmail.com.
• NOTE: You may not include baskets made at camps or clinics.

Dates:       Every Wednesday from June 14 – August 23 (except July 5)

Time:         6:00 – 8:00 pm

Location:  Discovery Elementary School, Buffalo

Who:          3rd – 8th Grade Girls (2022-2023 school year)

These clinics will be offered free of charge. Students may attend when they are available, there is no expectation that students will attend a specific number of times or every week.

All students attending must complete the participation waiver prior to their first night of attendance. Students without a signed waiver will not be allowed to participate. Please print the waiver below and bring it with you to your first night. 

Girls Traveling Basketball is pleased to offer a very low-cost, fun opportunity for girls currently in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade to get into the gym to improve their basketball skills and have a ton of fun this summer!

Summer Skills camp will be led by the girls' basketball traveling coaches. Skills-based drills will be focused on the fundamentals of shooting, ball handling, passing, catching, defense, rebounding, finishing, footwork, and more! Sessions will begin with skill development followed by decision-making 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 gameplay. There will also be freezies!

Where: Discovery Elementary School Gym, Buffalo

When: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm in June, June 11 - June 27 (no camp on June 19)

We will also offer August sessions: August 20th, 21st, and 22nd from 11:00 - 12:00 pm as a warm-up opportunity for traveling evalutions!

Cost: $5.00
